The method of study was descriptive-analytic and the results showed that, on the one hand, non-politicization of political science in Iran, lack of connection with the policy-making domain and the political system, and on the other hand, paradox and mere apoliticism, lack of scientific outlook on the essence of political science, dominant nature of power, lack of transparency of the principles of politics in Iran have made Iran's political science not accountable to the social realities. Existential, epistemic, and methodological contraction of political science in Iran prevented it to become a policy-making and planning science for those in power and the main directors of the book of politics. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی قبض و بسط پارادایمیک در معرفت‌شناسی علم سیاست در ایران است. روش پژوهش توصیفی-تحلیلی بوده و نتایج نشان داد که سیاستی نبودن علوم سیاسی در ایران، عدم ارتباط با حوزه سیاست­گذاری و نداشتن پیوند با پیکره نظام سیاسی از یک‌سو و تناقض و سیاست­زدگی محض، فقدان نگاه علمی به ماهیت علوم سیاسی، ماهیت استعلایی قدرت و عدم شفافیت مبانی علم سیاست در ایران از سوی‌ دیگر، منجر به عدم پاسخ‌گویی علم سیاست ایران به واقعیات اجتماعی شده است. قبض وجودی، معرفتی و روشی علوم سیاسی در ایران باعث شد تا به یک علم سیاست‌گذار و برنامه‌ریز برای اصحاب قدرت و کارگردانان اصلی صحیفه سیاست بدل نشود.    https://journals.abru.ac.ir/article_247088_a7cd7f0214e8a0344ddc6a11e664919c.pdf
