This article aims to analyze Israel's strategies during this conflict by examining how Netanyahu's personality traits influenced the country's foreign policy. The main question of this research is, how did Netanyahu's psychological characteristics affect Israel's approach to the Gaza war? In response to this question, this hypothesis has been proposed that Netanyahu's psychological traits, particularly his conceptual complexity and cognitive coherence, contributed to Israel's aggressive and expansionist behavior in this conflict. This is evident in the rejection of cease-fire proposals, the relentless bombing of the Gaza Strip, the neglect of internal pressures such as demands from hostage families, and the dismissal of international calls for restraint, even from the United States. This analytical-explanatory research will draw on theories from personality psychology and cognitive psychology to support its findings. جنگ غزه که متعاقب عملیات طوفان‌الاقصی در 7 اکتبر 2023 به‌وقوع پیوست و رژیم‌صهیونیستی را دچار غافل‌گیری نمود، بار دیگر موجب نمایان شدن افعال تهاجمی، فرصت‌طلبانه و غیرستیزانه رژیم‌صهیونیستی در برابر دیدگان جهانیان شد. در این مقاله به‌دنبال تبیین و تشریح رویکردهای اسرائیل در این جنگ، از طریق بررسی تأثیر خصوصیات شخصیتی نتانیاهو بر سیاست‌خارجی اسرائیل می‌باشیم. برهمین اساس، پرسش اصلی این است که: اولاً خصوصیات روان‌شناختی نتانیاهو شامل چه مواردی است؟ و دوماً تأثیر این ویژگی‌های روان‌شناختی بر رویکرد اسرائیل در جنگ غزه چگونه بوده‌است؟ فرضیه پژوهش نیز به‌این شرح است که خصوصیات روان‌شناختی نتانیاهو، خصوصاً مواردی مانند پیچیدگی‌مفهومی و انسجام‌شناختی موجب رفتار تهاجمی و گسترش‌گر اسرائیل در این جنگ شده و جلوه‌های آن را می‌توان در رد پیشنهاهای آتش‌بس، کشتار و بمباران بی‌وقفه نوار غزه، عدم توجه به فشارهای داخلی مانند مطالبات خانواده‌های گروگان‌ها و همچنین بی‌توجهی به فشارهای بین‌المللی حتی از سوی آمریکا؛ مشاهده نمود. در این پژوهش که به شیوه تحلیلی- تبیینی می‌باشد، به‌صورت تلفیقی از برخی نظریه‌های روان‌شناسی شخصیت و روان‌شناسی شناختی، بهره خواهیم بُرد. https://journals.abru.ac.ir/article_717099_088e321dcf1494afd061eac41a7a58bc.pdf
