Abstract
One of the main axes that has attracted the attention of all analysts of the international system on military-security issues from the perspective of strategic studies is the issue of which direction the expansion of emerging technologies in this environment will lead the competition in the international system and the Middle East region in the coming decade. Now the question is, what effect will the expansion of new technologies in the international environment have on the environmental conditions of future wars in the Middle East? It seems that the expansion of emerging technologies, in addition to causing the formation of a type of digital cold war between the great powers (America and China), will create competition on various axes and regional polarizations in the Middle East, with the help of the international environment, and future wars will move more towards combined and fluid wars. The present study has been developed with a futuristic and applied perspective, with a qualitative method and a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings of this study show that future wars will move towards combined and hybrid wars with the advent of emerging technologies such as (artificial intelligence, quantum and 5G technologies, drones).
