Abstract

Abstract
The present study investigates the relationship or lack of relationship Khwaja Tusi policy book.The main question of this study is that how the relationship between religion and politics has formed in the intellectual system of Khwaja Tusi? To answer the mentioned question, hypothesis of the study is that there is a direct link between religion and politics in thought of Khwaja so that he catches Quranic verses in order to explain his viewpoint about religion and politics relationship. The research method is descriptive-analytic that is analyzed by library resources and extraction of the Quranic verses contained in the Book of Politics (Siyasat-name).
By writing Politics (Siyasat-name) and addressing ruler, by formation a new political thought in Iran that continued up to the constitutional period, and by relying on the idea of the city (Iranshahri), Khwaja knew religion and government as twin and integral so that by accompanying with Sultan Malkshah Saljukhi, took a serious step to formalize Sunni religion in the country. By using tact and trick, he mainly caused to balance between customary law and religious law in the country. Khwaje as a person with a tact who is in the position of the Ministry and as the Sultanate, in some cases has caught Quranic verses to explain his political thought in controlling the country. By case studying these verses, it is noticed that Quranic verses have an important role in explanation of the most significant Khwaja thoughts from which the Qur'an emphasis on the need to obey God's command, the Prophet and his successors and also God's emphasis on the prevention of the domination of non-Muslims on Muslims can point out.
