Abstract
The evolution of the UAE's foreign policy from a passive actor to an active one in the West Asian region and the importance of geo-economic issues in its foreign policy have caused this country to pay special attention to the Horn of Africa region. The UAE has established growing relations with Israel after the Ibrahim agreement and due to Israel's geographical proximity to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, the presence of the UAE in the Horn of Africa is evaluated in order to ensure Israel's security. This research uses the concept of chain ports. Using a descriptive-analytical method, it is looking for an answer to the question that how can the UAE's chain port strategy in the Horn of Africa be evaluated in order to provide Israel's security? The current study argues that the United Arab Emirates, by taking over the ports of the Horn of Africa on the one hand and building military bases in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea, as well as increasing the military presence and relying on the militia groups in the region, is a suitable platform for increasing Israel's presence in This region provides and practically provides Israel's security.
