Abstract
Poblem:Toofan-al-aqsa is a really important military-intelligent operation in the history of Palestine crisis. This operation has a vast inflection in the international press that to imply their ideology in their news and analyses.Van Leeuwen 2008 is one of the most used theory of Critical Discourse Analysis that reflects the reference to social actors in the texts. Methodology: Here 40articles of 5 famous English press including C.N.N, The Associated Press, The Guardian, Time and The Economist were chosen and analysed in the reflection of Hamas and Israel as two main actors in Gaza crisis in these texts. The methodology is descriptive-analytic and the data gathered randomly through library method. Hypothesis: our hypothesis is the difference in referring to Hamas and Israel on the basis of the ideology of the press. Findings: In the selected articles and the press Hamas is referred to mainly by direct reference and Israel is referred to indirectly. Identification and negative evaluation are the most important modes of reference to Hamas and passivation and positive evaluation are used for Israel. The aim of this is to imply Hamas as a violent group in charge of the crisis and Israel as the passive victim.
