One of the basic challenges facing contemporary mankind is environmental issues and problems, an important part of which is caused by the current generation's excessive use of natural resources. This has led to an "environmental crisis" today, has had unfortunate effects and consequences, and has put the lives of the present generation and especially the future generations at risk and many problems, and in particular, the right of the future generations to enjoy Natural resources will face a fundamental challenge. Therefore, this article seeks to find the answer to the question, what are the international capacities to face the challenges facing the right of future generations to enjoy natural resources? It seems that one of the international capacities that can be effective in this field is international instruments and conventions. Many of these instruments, which the government of Iran has joined, besides discussing the rights of the present generation, have expressed the principles, rules and regulations regarding the protection and protection of the right of future generations to enjoy natural resources. This article, relying on the documentary method and analysis of international instruments, will express the challenges and capacities in this matter.
