"It is with great pleasure to announce that the quarterly journal 'Crisis Studies of the Islamic World', published under the auspices of Ayatollah Borujerdi University, has been awarded a  “Grade B in the 2024 evaluation by the Scientific Journals Commission of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, based on the Scientific Publications Regulations approved on April 21, 2019."

The Crisis Studies of the Islamic World (License No. 3/18/133833, Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology) invites submissions for its Winter 2025 Special Issue, to be published in English. Researchers and scholars are welcome to submit articles on crises and related issues in the Islamic world.

The Journal of Crisis Studies of the Islamic World invites esteemed researchers and scholars to submit original articles employing a "Crisis Studies" approach in Islamic countries for publication in upcoming issues. Submissions should align with the journal’s thematic focus and may address, but are not limited to, the following areas: Political and Security Crises, Conflict Resolution, Political Sociology, Political Foresight, Political Economy, War and Peace Studies and Iran’s Foreign policy.

The Journal of Crisis Studies of the Islamic World does not charge any fees for the initial review and evaluation of submitted articles. However, a publication fee of 6,000,000 Rials (IRR) will be required upon final acceptance of the manuscript.

"Authors must cover the translation fees for their extended abstract."

Key Submission Guidelines:

  • All submitted articles undergo a plagiarism check. Please submit a report from either the Samim Noor Similarity Check System alongside your article. The similarity index must not exceed 15%.
  • To enhance academic transparency and research credibility, all submitting authors must include their valid ORCID iD in both their personal scholar profile and the manuscript's author information section
