The purpose of this article is to explain the structural-process logic of the formation of periodical collective protests during the four decades of the Islamic Republic of Iran.The main question of the current research is that in the framework of the field of confrontation, widespread popular protests in the era of the Islamic Republic originated from what structural-confrontational reasons.And also the question that the process of its formation since the establishment of the Islamic Republic until now, what changes has it experienced in the goals and political forces and the field of confrontation of its multiple forces.The research method used is also the historical narrative aimed at the construction of Weber's ideal type.That is, by applying and confronting the theoretical framework and experimental data in the form of a field, the historical configuration is reconstructed in order to draw out the forces and tendencies of this figure in each period.The method of gathering information is also the study of book documents, observation of radio and television archives, interviews with experts in political sociology.The findings of the research indicate that periodical protests are structurally rooted in the quality of the relationship and the confrontation of multiple elements (dual structure of power, the logic of economic digestion and the logic of popular appeal-protest) in a historical moment.These protests show a kind of continuous and repetitive process with the logic of random encounters and at the same time profound.
